Hannah Turpin

Hannah Turpin is currently the curatorial assistant for contemporary art and photography at Carnegie Museum of Art. Recently, she curated the exhibition The Seen and The Unseen: Three Artists Visualizing the Boundary of Space and Place at Neu Kirche Contemporary Art Center. Turpin earned a bachelor’s in East Asian studies at Denison University and a master's in art history, with a focus on modern and contemporary art, at New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts. Past institutional experience includes the Brooklyn Museum, Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art, and Columbus Museum of Art.
