Colleen Kimes

Colleen Kimes is assistant editor at Carnegie Museum of Art, where she edits a variety of museum publications. She holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts, where her research interests included feminist theory and the narratives of social movements. She worked at the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College before relocating to Pittsburgh in 2016, when she began working at CMOA. Blending her experience in the social sciences and the arts, she is interested in the art and aesthetics of activism.
