Rob Ruck

Rob Ruck is a professor of history at the University of Pittsburgh, where he teaches History of Sport, one of the first college courses of its kind. He is also the author of several books, including Sandlot Seasons: Sport in Black Pittsburgh (University of Illinois Press) and, most recently, Raceball: How the Major Leagues Colonized the Black and Latin Game (Beacon Press, 2011).
